Giuseppi’s – G. Borg Olivier Street, Mellieha -Malta
Tucked away in a cosy little corner in Mellieha, Malta’s northern gem, Giuseppi’s is the epitome of good food. Serving modern Mediterranean cuisine the restaurant itself is an old Maltese farmhouse complete with traditional antique tiles and a warm rustic décor instantly making you feel at home. It is split onto two levels and accommodates up to 45 people.
Giuseppi’s tantalising dishes are plenty and make your choice harder. The menu changes frequently with different specials offered everyday. Some favourites include the deep fried goat’s cheese, fresh tuna with ground coffee and grilled, fresh, red local prawns, quail and rabbit with warm chocolate sauce. Other specials are the grilled calamari as well as the lamb.
Make sure to leave enough room for our exquisite home made sweets which includes a choice of Maltese warm imqaret with ice-cream, hot chocolate fondants, pannacotta and creme brulee as well as lemon cheesecake.
Giuseppi’s also boasts of a climatised wine cellar with an extensive list of over 200 different wine labels.
The restaurant is open for dinner from Monday to Saturday and closed on Sunday, although we can open for lunches if a special request is made. We also provide outside catering for weddings, dinners and lunches with everything prepared according to the client’s needs and desires.
