Situated in a historic cellar the restaurant is right under Valletta’s Manoel Theatre – buiilt by the Knights of St John and still functioning – Fumia is famous for its seafood. Seafood of all kinds are on offer and the menu varies constantly with the season and the daily catch.
Fumia specialises in seafood in a big way. There are 14 different seafood pasta dishes on the menu – from swordfish or sea urchin to ricotta and squid ink ravioli – as well as a variety of fish and shellfish starters. For main course, as well as a few fixed items and one or two meat dishes each day, there is a choice of seasonal fresh fish. You choose your fish. They turn it into dinner.
