The Quattro Fratelli restaurant operates in the form of a trattoria, offering a wide selection of dishes ranging from light starter dishes to soups and pasta dishes, as well as grills. It is also offering a selection of mouth-watering meat dishes and a selection of fish dishes including a daily variety of fresh fish.

The menu will also include quick snacks such as burgers and light salads, and also includes a section for younger generations, with a delicious Kids Menu, aimed at putting the fun back into eating – with a toy given out with every kid-meal!

 

Quattro Fratelli is run by local restaurant management company Sprint By 4, that also manages other Sunny Coast premises. The restaurant which is decorated in a minimalist style by professional decorators and includes an open air terrace and plasma screens for the enjoyment of diners.

During our past working experience in Valletta we developed a love and appreciation for the city’s spirito. Sfoglia is located in Merchants Street in the heart of the baroque city of Valletta. Our mediterranean-influenced menu changes regularly and is inspired by the seasonally available produce. We encourage diners to eat all’Italiana sampling an antipasto, a primo plate of Sfoglia’s renowned pasta – Sfoglia means an uncut sheet of pasta – a secondo of naturally-raised meats, a contorno made with local ingredients and a dolce from Sfoglia’s menu of deliziosi desserts.

Its vicinity to the newly-revamped Marsascala playing fields, wide selection of value-for-money food and beverages, and various sport-viewing facilities, 47 Summer Nights provides an ideal middle ground for every type of family. This kitchen is equipped to cater for the 260 patrons which the restaurant can seat simultaneously.

47 Summer Nights houses a total of 15 plasma screens and a maximum of 3 big screens (one of which is 5 square metres large). Due to this fact, a multitude of different requests can be filled out simultaneously to suit everyone’s sport-viewing needs.

47 Summer Nights also caters for several types of events: the restaurant provides ground for casual meals, coffee breaks, and large-party buffets amongst others; the lounge bar hosts many cocktail parties, birthday parties, get-togethers, and even children’s parties. The kitchen is equipped to provide suitable food for any of the aforementioned events.

A further 100 seated clients can be served at the adjacent 47 Summer Nights Lounge Bar. Here, clients can either sit in the relaxing terrace sanctuary on comfortable sofas or armchairs, or at regular tables and stools in the heart of the playing fields.

The same concept as at 47 Summer Nights Pizza & Pasta can be enjoyed here but with a different dimension. The lounge bar is known more for a beer amongst friends, cocktails, and platters-to-share than it is for seated meals.

Moreover, a mixture of the above can be created according to what the client feels like. The lounge bar houses 5 more plasma screens and is directly in front of the 5 metre square screen.

La Ruelle Restaurant opened in October 2009.

The restaurant name ‘La Ruelle’ is the french translation for ‘trejqa’ which is referring to G. Maniscalco Street, the narrow street, corner with La Ruelle restaurant. The building has over 100 years old, and was recently restored and refurbished into a rustic/contemporary restaurant. La Ruelle restaurant is enhanced with wooden beams, old ‘xorok’ and various 19th and 20th century family memorabilia.

Jonathan, the chef patron, is 35 years old and lives in Marsaxlokk for over 12 years. He has various ITS qualifications and since young he gave great value to food and beverage. Charlene, co-owner, is 31 years old, graduated as a teacher in 2004, and furthered her studies in various specializations related to food and other.

Tartarun restaurant situated in the heart of Marsaxlokk specialises in fresh fish. We select the fish and its source carefully to provide genuine local produce for an exquisite fish dining experience. The feel of the restaurant is rustic, with a lot of wood work, yet it has a modern finish exposing local scenery and local way of life.

TARTARUN RESTAURANT was officially opened under this name in September, 2009, and has in this short time carved a name for itself that is well known and sought after from beyond the locality. The establishment has not fallen into the trap that most others have plunged headlong into, that is, going for an overtly large restaurant with so many covers that they could not cope with, but they have very intelligently adopted the strategy to service accepted covers by prior reservation, of up to some 60 maximum. The front of house is taken care of by Stephen Schiavone as the Maitre d’, who is assisted by an efficient brigade of servers, and the kitchen is run by Executive Chef James Schiavone, whose dishes and cuisine are becoming a benchmark for this class of restaurant. I do not normally give accolades like this lightly, but I have always believed and practiced the norm that credit should be given where ever credit is due.

The Menu at Tartarun is not a vast affair, but offers a selection of exquisite, gourmet dishes ranging from choices of antipasti such as Sashimi of Swordfish, Tequila and citrus cured salmon, Mediterranean Prawn Carpacio, and their renowned Cold poached Lobster salad, and others; Pasta including selections such as Tagliatelle “Astice” with half a lobster, cherry tomatoes, white wine and cream; Black “Tortellaci” stuffed with prawns and red mullet, fennel and fish fumet; Linguini Nero, etc. Main courses ranging from their massive seafood platter which they term as Tartarun’s Plateau Royal; Catch of the day fresh fish; Lobster from the tank,;the usual beef dishes of rib-eye or fillet; with the main accent of course being on fresh fish, seafood and seashells dishes. What else from Marsaxlokk? The menu is changed periodically to reflect the seasons and the freshest ingredients.

Tartarun Lounge offers you a completly different mood. It is relaxing. It has the right feel for an intimate conversation or a get together with friends. As alternative to our larger menu, we offer small dishes prepared from local seasonal ingredients to be shared by the party.
